Artwork Format
The most suitable artwork format for print or embroidery is a vector format, we use Adobe Illustrator. The reason for this is that the artwork can then be easily resized and edited when preparing for print.
However, if you don’t have vector artwork of your design, don’t panic! We do a lot of print and embroidery from artwork supplied in Photoshop format, we can take this into illustrator and vectorize the design for you, ideally the artwork should be at least 350dpi.
We also do a lot of print from JPEG and PDF artwork, which is fine if the file is of suitable quality to vectorize well
If you are unsure whether we will be able to use your artwork for print/embroidery, please contact a member of our sales team for assistance. Even if the artwork you have is not of a suitable quality, our designers can either take the existing artwork and improve it ready for print, or completely redraw it if needs be.
Artwork with Gradients/High Detail
We can accurately reproduce designs containing gradients and high detail when screen printing. Any design which contains gradients or high detail will be subject to an artwork/separation fee prior the printing of the films and setting the screens. This is priced per job and depends on the complexity of the design.
By using halftone dots, we can ‘merge’ colours in a design if needs be to create a very accurate representation.
Using modern technology and some of the best equipment on the market, we can print very high detail up to 8 colours, and ensure perfect registration every time!
