Frequently Asked Questions

Screen Printing - Once I've had my design setup, will I ever have to pay for setup again?

No, once we have your artwork and films for your design, we will reset any screens in the future free of charge.

Screen Printing - Can you print Larger than A3?

Yes, but this requires over size film work and screens, and is also a lot trickier to print, so costs for oversize printing larger than A3 are double standard setup and print costs. Also, we can't print large quantities of oversized print as these jobs are taken care of on the manual print press and not the Automatics!

Screen Printing - Do I have to have a base screen setup when printing onto dark garments?

9 times out of 10 yes - This allows us to achieve the best quality print for you, so we generally wouldn't print onto darks without a white underbase. However, remember this doesn't effect your print costs, it's just a one of charge to cover setup of an extra screen, we print the base for free. Send us your artwork and requirements to confirm.

Screen Printing - Can I have the same design printed onto various garments, and will this reduce my price?

Yes, you can have the same design printed onto as many different garments as you want. For example, you could print onto 50 T-Shirts, 25 Sweats and 25 Hoodies with the same setup/design. On the print you would pay for a 100 run. However, having artwork sized to fit different sizes of garments (e.g. womens fitted, childrens) or to be printed on sleeves may require additional setup and seperate print runs.

Screen Printing - Can I have a sample print done before placing my order?

If you're looking at placing a fairly large order, we can setup your job up and print a sample run of 10 shirts (we have to print at least 10 shirts to cover the time of setting up the press, registering colours, inking screens, washing down etc.) for approval for before printing the main job. Screen costs and 10+ print and garment prices would be applicable.

Embroidery - Once I've had my design digitised, will I have to pay this cost again?

No, once you've paid for the setup of your design you won't have to pay this again, we keep your setup for use in any repeat orders you may require.

Embroidery - I want the same logo in different sizes, do I have to pay a setup for each?

Generally yes, the reason being is that different sized embroideries require different styles of stitch work to make them look good and last well, so although the designs may look the same apart from sizing, the stitch patterns are likely to be completely different.

Embroidery - Can you sample my embroidery for approval before I go ahead with my order?

Yes, we can post you a sample stitch out of your design if you require before we go into production for approval. We can also email a PDF visual of the embroidery.

Garments - Can you provide me with some samples before I place my order?

Yes, we can send you samples of any item in our catalogue, samples are charged at the same rate as the minimum order (which varies across product ranges). All samples are send out via next day courier and carry a delivery cost of ?8 (ex VAT).

Garments - Are the quantity prices in your catalogue colour/size in each style?

No, on most products we can offer those quantity breakdowns for any particular assortment of colours and sizes. For example, if you ordered the Gildan Ultra Cotton T-Shirt: 40 Azalea (15 x S, 10 x M, 5 x L) and 60 Tangerine (23 x S, 18 x M, 19 x XL) you would pay the 100+ rate on all.

Garments - How accurate are the sizes and colour swatches shown on your website?

As accurate as possible! Colours and sizes are based on the manufacturers information. However, even the same sizes can vary slightly accross brands and some computer moniters may display colours differently. We'd recommend using them as a guide only. Most customers find them fairly helpful in determining colours/sizes to order, but if sizing and colour is of upmost importance we recommend ordering some samples.
